This Easter, give a gift that’s sweeter than chocolate…

Only one in ten of the children we care for can enjoy eating Easter eggs, because of dietary and medical considerations, which is why we’re asking our supporters this Easter not to donate Easter eggs.

But, we appreciate that you’ll want to show your wonderful support to our children and young people; so instead of donating a chocolate egg, we’re asking you to donate the cost of an Easter egg, which will help us create magical memories for our children, young people and their families.

Here’s what your money could help buy:

  • £5 could fund our Play Team to provide arts and crafts fun and learning
  • £10 could help fund music therapy sessions, which support our children and young people express and share their emotions
  • £20 could help us to provide Physiotherapy in a child’s room, the gym or our hydrotherapy pool

If you are anything like us, chocolate will be devoured in five minutes flat, but the memories created from your generous donations this Easter, can last a lifetime!

Helen is peg fed. She can’t take anything by mouth, so can’t enjoy chocolate like most of us. A virtual Easter egg for children like Helen would mean so much more than the real thing.

How to donate the cost of an Easter egg:

Donating the cost of an Easter egg to make precious memories for local children and young people, if as easy as 1, 2, 3…

  1. Visit our virtual Easter egg basket
  2. Pick a virtual egg – you can choose from lots of colour Easter eggs, which can be personalised with a special message
  3. Make a donation, and then write your message or share a photograph. You can even choose to share this online with your family and friends

Chocolate lasts a moment. Help us make memories which last a lifetime.
