Specialist care from birth

Rainbows provides specialist palliative and end-of-life care for babies from birth, supporting them and their families through some of the most difficult decisions, and helping them make the most of precious time together.

Our clinical nurse specialists work alongside neonatal and hospital teams across the East Midlands, bringing specialist children’s palliative care into the hospital. They help assess each baby’s needs, support families through complex decisions and work with other healthcare professionals to plan the care that’s right for them.

Care wherever it’s needed

As a baby’s needs change, care can extend beyond the hospital. Depending on what’s right for the baby and family, Rainbows can provide specialist care and support at our hospice, at home and in the community, working alongside the healthcare teams already involved.

Here when you need us
