Ways to give in memory

There are lots of ways to remember someone special while supporting Rainbows. You might make a one-off donation online, by phone or by post. You might ask for donations in lieu of flowers at a funeral or memorial service, or set up an online tribute page to bring family and friends together in one place.

If you’d like to collect donations at a funeral, we’re happy to provide collection envelopes for the day. These make giving simple, and let anyone who’s a UK taxpayer add Gift Aid, so their gift is worth even more to our families.

Tribute funds

A tribute fund is a beautiful way to keep a loved one’s memory alive, and to celebrate the life and the moments you shared.

With a tribute fund you’ll have your own online tribute page, a private space for comfort, remembrance and reflection, where you can share memories, photographs, videos and music with family and friends wherever they are. Loved ones can add their own memories too, and make donations directly to the fund.

Once your fund is open, you can add to it whenever it feels right. You might mark a birthday or anniversary, hold a funeral collection, set up a regular gift or take part in an event. However, you choose to remember, family and friends can grow the tribute together, over time and how you wish.
