If you’d like to support us at nursery, school, college or university there’s lots you can do to and put the ‘fun’ in fundraising at the same time!

We find that some of the best ideas come from getting everyone involved before you start fundraising.

Young people themselves have great ideas and can develop skills in event planning (even a cake sale needs a good plan!), organisation, teamwork and more.

They also benefit from knowing that they are supporting a charity that helps other children and young people in their local community.

There’s lots of easy ways you can fundraise for Rainbows, here’s a few ideas to give you a starting point…

A group of school children smiling and jumping in the air

Hold a Non Uniform Day or ‘Be a Rainbow’ day…

Brighten the nursery, classroom or lecture theatre and have fun by seeing who can wear the brightest and most colourful clothes. Odd socks, a bright hat…why not set a new fashion trend whilst raising money for Rainbows too!

Hold a cake sale…

It could be a cake you’ve baked or one you’ve brought but cake sales are always popular. Asking for donations towards them will all add up!

More Ideas…

  • Guess the number of sweets in a jar
  • Basketball / Football Shoot Out
  • Art Competition
  • School Quiz
  • Sponge the teacher

Have fun, be creative, keep it simple – we’re here to help with resources too!

Every action you take to help means the world
