Take on Wilne 10k for Rainbows

Runners from Derbyshire are urged to lace up their trainers and take on the Wilne 10k to raise money for Rainbows.

The Available Car Wilne 10k is on Sunday 3 September at 10am. The event, which is in its 12th year, is a flat, traffic-free road route, making is accessible for all abilities.

Race Director, Richard Kay said: “Having worked with Rainbows on other events in the past and seeing the great work they do, we are pleased to join forces with them again to help with the valuable fundraising they so rely on.

“The Wilne 10k event aims to pick a new charity each year and supporting local charities is high on our agenda, which is pleasing as Rainbows is only a few miles away. It is nice to see so many runners working hard at the Wilne 10k every year and we hope that this year they will also choose to make a big effort when it comes to fundraising as well.”

Kate Golding, Head of Organisational Giving at Rainbows, added: “We are very lucky to have the support of Available Car and the Wilne 10k. It is a great event and we hope people sign up to support our charity. Every penny raised enables us to continue providing invaluable care to babies, children and young people.”
