Skydive for Rainbows this summer

Rainbows has launched the thrilling opportunity to skydive at Langar Airfield in support of those with terminal and serious illnesses.

Our tandem skydive, on Saturday 15 July, will provide an exhilarating experience to freefall and see views of the earth from 10,000 feet high, while reaching speeds of up to 120mph.

Claire Hoggan, Rainbows Events Fundraiser, said: “By signing up to this exciting event, you will not only enjoy the experience of a lifetime, but you will also be gifting Rainbows with funding towards our therapies, palliative care, and end of life care for babies, children and young people from Nottinghamshire.

“Your fundraising will be an amazing way for you to become flying heroes for Rainbows and you can wear your charity t-shirt as your badge of honour.

“So, take a leap of faith and dive into the opportunity of a lifetime by skydiving for Rainbows this summer.”

The experience includes a detailed pre-safety briefing with an instructor and support from the dedicated Rainbows team to help with fundraising goals.

Our event, which is £60 per person, will be from 8am to midday and no experience is required. Participants must be over the age of 16 and will need a parent or guardian signature for under 18. A minimum sponsorship of £400 must be raised.
