Rainbows is going on a Bear Hunt

Leicestershire children are invited to a series of special ‘We’re Going on a Bow Bear Hunt’ to raise money for Rainbows.

Unlike the book – We’re Going on a Bear Hunt – the ‘We’re Going on a Bow Bear Hunt’ events, won’t feature snowstorms, rivers or mud, but they will provide an exciting adventure for little ones.

Set at three locations across the county, there will be a trail for children to complete by finding clues. Once completed, they will be rewarded with a special prize. Our mascot, Bow Bear, will also be making an appearance at some of the events.

The ‘We’re Going on a Bow Bear Hunts’ will take place at Bawdon Lodge Farm, Loughborough, on Saturday 12 June, Whatton House, Loughborough, on August 1, 8, 15 and 22, and Belvoir Castle on Sunday 1 August.

Gary Farnfield, Rainbows Community Fundraiser, said: “These events will be fun for all the family and a chance to be out and about, enjoying the fresh air, while supporting Rainbows.

“Tickets are limited, so to avoid disappointment, we would encourage you to sign up in advance to your preferred time slot. Should there be any remaining spaces on the day, you’ll be able to register on arrival.

“This is a great way for the young ones to get involved with supporting Rainbows and the vital work we carry out at the hospice.”

Tickets are £5 per person (adults and children aged 3 years over). For more information and to book your tickets, visit rainbows.co.uk/bearhunt
