Local CBBC star visits Rainbows

CBBC star Eva Rose Finnemore visited Rainbows to entertain some of our children, young people and their families.

Twelve-year-old Eva Rose Finnemore, of Uppingham, starred in the CBBC hit ‘Got What It Takes?’ last year.

On August 9 and 10, she is performing at music festival, HathernFest, in Hathern, which is supporting our hospice. Eva Rose wanted to visit us prior to the event to say “Hello” and perform some of her songs.

Eva Rose said: “The work carried out by Rainbows is incredible and I want to do anything I can to help brighten the lives of life-limited children and their families. I hope that people will come along to the HathernFest, and also support Rainbows.”

Gary Farnfield, Community Fundraiser at Rainbows, added: “I would like to thank Eva Rose for visiting and also thank all of the volunteers and committee who organise HathernFest, for supporting Rainbows. They are doing a wonderful thing helping to raise funds to help us run the hospice – fundraising efforts make such a huge difference to both the children and young people at Rainbows and their families.”
