Exchange gifts with Rainbows

We want to exchange gifts with shoppers this Christmas.

The festive season is traditionally a time for giving and we want to give something back to those who donate to our shops, which in turn helps to fund the care and support given to the children and young people at our hospice.

So for every bag of clothing donated, we will give 10 percent off other items bought at the same visit to the shop.

Karen Bilsby, Head of Retail at Rainbows, said: “As a special thank you at Christmas time, we want to give back to the people of the East Midlands for their kindness shown to us.

“At Rainbows we care for more than 400 children and young people with life-limiting illnesses as well as supporting bereaved families and siblings. Selling clothes worth £20 could help to fund a music therapy session for a child and £25 could help fund the cost of one week’s play materials.

“All donations are always gratefully received but we are particularly short of women’s wear if people can bear us in mind when they are having a clear out, that would be wonderful. And people can also add Gift Aid at no extra cost to them if they are a UK taxpayer, meaning Rainbows gets even more money.”

The 10 percent discount offer will run until Tuesday 24 December at the charity’s shops in Beeston, Melton, Loughborough, Blaby and Market Harborough. For more information on Rainbows shops visit rainbows.co.uk/shops
