Broxtowe MP supports local Rainbows shop

Anna Soubry, MP for Broxtowe, supported our shop in Beeston by clearing out her wardrobe and giving up some of her time to volunteer.

Miss Soubry visited the store in High Road to hand over a bag of stock, which will help to raise vital funds for us. She also met the volunteers and joined them in carrying out essential work.

She said: “If you have anything you no longer require at home that you think someone else may like, don’t throw it out, give it to Rainbows. By supporting Rainbows they can help to support children, young people and their families when they need it the most. If you can’t give to Rainbows, please shop at Rainbows.”

Melissa Nicols, manager at the Beeston shop, added: “We would like to thank Anna for her donation and for taking the time to come and visit our shop and volunteer for us. It is great to have her backing. We have felt extremely welcome since we opened our shop a few months ago, the local community has simply been wonderful and I hope they continue to support us.”
