Gifts in Kind

Money is not the only thing your company can give!  We welcome gifts that support us to offer respite, palliative and end of life care to children and young people across the East Midlands.

Rainbows values the experience and expertise that your company has to offer, there are always lots of products and services we need. Could your business provide something to benefit the hospice?
Donating gifts is an easy way to support Rainbows and there are always lots of products and services we need. Perhaps your company provides a service or product that could benefit the hospice? We would love to talk to you to explore these opportunities with you.

To give you an idea of how Gifts In Kind have benefitted Rainbows, have a read through our examples:

Beaumanor Fluid Power Products

During 2020 our need for extra PPE and cleaning equipment significantly increased due to Coronavirus. Our friends at Beaumanor made an incredible donation of masks, face shields, wipes, disinfectant, and hand sanitiser. The many PPE gifts we received were vital to helping us provide our care safely.

Eco garden

In 2019, to celebrate their 110-year anniversary, Brett Landscaping very kindly donated all products needed to replace our existing pathway in our Eco Garden. They also managed to secure donations from William Hercocks Ltd., P&R Building Supplies, Wincanton Plc and one of their customers David Greaves very generously gave their time to install the path over a three day period – in the worst weather possible! The team from Brett also donated their time to help us and made a donation for each person who volunteered. This amazing project has made a huge difference to our families accessing this lovely garden space.

McVities biscuits

Who doesn’t love biscuits? We’re so lucky at Rainbows to receive support from McVitie’s in Leicester who keep us well stocked with a supply of their delicious biscuits. Their generous donations mean that we have tea and biscuits for our families, help to focus at planning meetings and supplies for all of our amazing sibling events. The McVitie’s team keep us going!

Holland and Barrett

We get looked after by the lovely people at Holland & Barrett who supply healthy snacks for us here at the hospice. A group of our young people organise and run their own Tuck Shop that we all support by making donations for the snacks. Holland & Barrett also supply products for our Chef to help make nutritious lunches and dinners for our families along with snacks to hand out at our events.
