It’s more than a race – it’s a destination running experience. Each May, runners travel from across the UK and beyond to take on fast, scenic routes through Milton Keynes and earn an unforgettable finish inside StadiumMK, complete with a full lap of the pitch and the roar of the crowd.

Whether you’re chasing a personal best, stepping up to a new distance, or running your first-ever race, MK Marathon Weekend delivers everything your training deserves – without the chaos of a mega-race.

Cost to run for Rainbows:

  • Registration is £15 (+£0.60 booking fee)
  • Minimum fundraising target is £200* (excluding Gift Aid)

Participants must be aged 17 years or over on the day of the race.

Why run for Rainbows?

By fundraising for Rainbows you will be helping to support babies, children, young people and their families living with life-shortening, or life-threatening conditions here in the East Midlands.

We support every baby, child and young person to fulfil their potential, and help families make the most of every precious moment, while capturing memories and keepsakes to treasure. We’re here for the whole family, offering comfort and compassion during tough times, providing the highest level of professional care until the end, and support after. Simply put, we’re here to brighten short lives, and support families, wherever they are.

Every penny you raise, will help support our vital work here at the Hospice, in the local community and in hospitals.
