This September, spread the smiles as you complete the miles by running for Rainbows at the Great North Run. Every step you take during the most iconic half-marathon in the world will help to brighten short lives, right here in the East Midlands.
The Great North Run takes you from the city centre of Newcastle, across the awe-inspiring Tyne Bridge to the finish line on the coast of South Shields. Lined along the route are hundreds of spectators cheering you on, creating a unique atmosphere. And by running for Rainbows, you’ll be one of the 57,000 people taking part in this amazing event, full of fantastic fancy-dress runners, celebrities and those running for a PB.
