Care shaped around every child

Every child is different, so care is shaped around their individual needs. Our nurses and care teams work alongside families and other healthcare professionals to manage symptoms, provide specialist care and support families as their child’s needs change.

For some children, Rainbows will be part of their lives for many years. Others may need support for a shorter time, or move on from our care as their needs change.

Care wherever it’s needed

Care can be provided at our hospice, at home, in hospital and in the community. Wherever it takes place, the aim is the same, to give children the best possible quality of life, and to help families make the most of their time together.

Support for the whole family

Because a child’s condition affects everyone who loves them, Rainbows supports the whole family too, including parents, brothers, sisters and grandparents.

Here when you need us

If you’d like to know more about how Rainbows can support your family, please get in touch. Referrals come through a healthcare professional, so a good first step is to speak to someone already involved in your child’s care.
