Bawdon Lodge Farm – Handbag Amnesty Stall (nr Loughborough)

Bawdon Lodge Farm are holding a coffee morning for Macmillan and they’ve invited us to have our Handbag Amnesty stall at the event. We’re looking for a couple of people to run the stall during the day – selling handbags and talking to people about Rainbows. Tesco Park Road, Loughborough – bucket collection

Time: 9am until 6pm (various slots available)

We’re looking for people to cover slots during the day to bucket collect for Rainbows Hospice. We are ideally we’re looking for two people to cover each time slot. The times are 9am-11.00am, 10.45am-12.45pm, 12.30pm-2.30pm, 2.15pm-4.15pm and 4.00pm-6.00pm.Contact: Jenny Ball

Robin Hood Half Marathon (Nottingham)

Venue: Victoria Embankment, Nottingham and Wilford Road, NottinghamDetails of Activity:
We’re looking for Marshalls to man the route of the Robin Hood Half Marathon, you will have a member of Rainbows staff with you. We are also looking for volunteers to man the Rainbows Cheer point to cheer on our amazing Rainbows runners. We will be present in the charity village and will be looking for some volunteers to help man the stall and bucket collect.Contact: Jenny Ball

Derby Cathedral Abseil

Our Derby Cathedral Abseil is one of our most popular annual events and it wouldn’t be possible without our volunteers!Roles include:
- Bucket Collections
- Registering participants
- Serving refreshments
- Tombola stall

Beaumanor Hall Christmas Fair – Handbag Amnesty (nr Loughborough)

Beaumanor Hall are holding their Christmas Fair and they’ve invited us to have our Handbag Amnesty stall at the event. We’re looking for people to run the stall during the day – selling handbags and talking to people about Rainbows. Time slots for volunteering are:9:30am – 12:00 noon

Loughborough Santa Run
Date: Sunday 1st December
Time: 7am-2pm (Majority of roles begin at 9am)
Venue: Market Place, Loughborough, LE11 2PZDetails of Activity:
In 2022 the Rainbows Loughborough Santa Run saw over 600 Santa’s taking to the streets of Loughborough for what was a brilliant festive event! The snow came down in 2023 which disrupted our plans but this year we are back and hoping to be bigger than ever!
To make this possible we need over 100 volunteers to help to bring some festive cheer on race day!
Roles will include; Set up, Registration, Marshalling, Stewards, running stalls, and Medal Station volunteers.
