  • Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 August – Marston Steam and Vintage Show Market Harborough

    Time: 9.30am – 5pm
    Venue: Marston Trussell, Market Harborough, Leicestershire, LE16 9TU

    Details of Event:
    A weekend of full-size steam engines, miniature steam engines. Vintage tractors, classic cars, live steam working demos, trade, craft and charity stalls, beer tent, traditional funfair. Dog show on Sunday, live entertainment, camping available.

    Tickets: Advanced tickets can be purchased before the show. Tickets can be downloaded to your smart device or printed to be scanned on the gate. Cash and card payments will still be accepted on the gate.

    Ticket Prices: *Advanced Adult Ticket Prices £8, on the gate adult: £10. Children 16 & under free. *Programme: £2. Dog show £2 per entry.

  • Monday 31 August – Stonehurst Farm Car Show – Stonehurst Farm, Mountsorrel, LE12 7AA

    Details of Event:
    Stonehurst Farm support us from their monthly Car Shows from April – September, pop along to the farm, see the cars and enjoy Stonehurst’s Hog Roast and Bar on the evening too!

    There’s no ticket price to attend the car show, just a donation on entry to Rainbows by cash or card.

  • Tuesday 27 October – Friday 30 October – The Diary of Anne Frank – Mountsorrel, LE12 7DB

    Details of Event:
    The Festival Players are back with their next performance, The Diary of Anne Frank. They will kindly be supporting Rainbows from collections at the end of their shows.

    Based on teenager Anne Frank’s famous diary the play gives a stirring insight into the lives of people persecuted under Nazi rule in WW2 occupied Europe,. In this stage adaptation Anne emerges from history a living, lyrical, intensely gifted young woman, who confronts her rapidly changing life and the increasing horror of her times with astonishing honesty, wit and determination.

    Following their successful productions of The 39 Steps, Blood Brothers, Calendar Girls, The Haunting & Cluedo The Festival Players are back at MMC with this impassioned drama about the lives of eight people in hiding, the claustrophobic realities of their daily existence and their fear, their hope, their laughter and their grief……
