    Details of Event: Charity clothing sale. Buy pre-loved and new items, everyone welcome. Over 1000 pre-loved designer and high street items all needing a new home! Donations can be dropped at CODE 40 – 72, Western Road, Leicester, LE3 OGH

    Doors open at 8am.

    All proceeds will be split between Rainbows Hospice and Women’s Aid Leicester

  • Sunday 26 April – Drive It Day 2026 – Starting at Billesdon

    Time: 8:30am
    Starting Venue: Buttercups Tearooms, Tilton Road, Billesdon, Leicester, LE7 9FE

    Details of Event:

    Rainbow Classic Car Run

    The day will start at the Buttercups Tearoom, Billesdon (between Leicester and Uppingham) with registration and collection of route information and the possibility of coffee and a bacon cob. There will then be a relaxed run of around 50 miles through the Leicestershire countryside after which we arrive at Stonehurst Farm, Mountsorrel to join a display of other Drive it Day cars.

    Registration starts at 08:30 with all cars away by 10:00. During the run there is no time pressure and entrants are encouraged to take their time and enjoy the scenery stopping for refreshment as necessary before completing the day with a hog roast. However, if a hog roast is too much the Stonehurst cafe will be open for something lighter.

    The event is, as ever, run by volunteers in aid of Rainbows and all proceeds go to the Rainbows charity.

    It’s a dark and stormy night, and you’re invited to a most unusual dinner party. The guests all have mysterious aliases, the butler has a suspiciously good selection of weapons—and the host? He’s dead.

    So, whodunnit?

    Join the infamous suspects—Scarlet, Plum, White, Green, Peacock, and Mustard—as they race through Boddy Manor to uncover the killer before the next victim falls. Packed with twists, turns, and laugh-out-loud moments, Cluedo is a fast-paced, madcap comedy that will keep you guessing (and giggling) until the final shocking reveal.
