WSP continue to support Rainbows

WSP, a global Engineering Services company, have been supporting Rainbows from their Derby office since the summer of 2016. In that time the team have been busy fundraising, including a group who abseiled the Cathedral tower in Derby, the second highest in the country! The office also nominated a project at Rainbows to receive a grant from the company foundation for some new multi-sensory equipment. Although we didn’t win, the application was highly commended and did receive some partial funding which has moved us closer to buying the equipment. Their efforts so far have raised over £1,500, but on top of this they’ve been busy collecting unwanted clothes and bric-a-brac for the hospice which has been a great way to help without actually asking anyone for money.

Not content with all of that, there’s a team preparing for a Three Peaks Challenge in June this year. This will see them climb Ben Nevis, Snowdon and Scafell Pike in under 24 hours! Of course, the team are also supporting Rainbows and are hoping to raise £1,000 between them for us.

We wish them all the best on this monumental challenge – you can keep up to date with the team, and support them if you like, here – www.justgiving.com/fundraising/wspthreepeakschallenge
