We need your summer stock

As people start to drag out their jumpers, hats and scarves, we are searching for summer stock.

We want people to clear out their summer wardrobe and donate any unwanted items to our shops in Matlock, Melton and Blaby.

Head of retail Karen Bilsby said: “We know it is sad to say goodbye to summer and bring out the winter clothes but we are always in need of stock for our shops and we would love to find new homes for your seasonal items.

“At Rainbows Hospice we support children with life-limited illnesses and their families across the East Midlands. We rely on raising money in our shops to be able to provide this service and stock donation is a lifeline for us. So while you are putting away your summer clothes, ask yourself if you are likely to wear the items next year and if you think not, please consider donating them to Rainbows and we will save them for next summer.”

Selling clothes worth £10 could help to fund five days’ worth of oxygen for a child, £25 could help fund the cost of one week’s play materials and a sale of £50 in the Rainbows shops could help fund part of the charity’s emergency pharmacy bill for a month.
