Rainbows given £1,160 by Leicestershire & Rutland Freemasons

Rainbows has received a grant of £1,160 from Leicestershire & Rutland Freemasons.

The grant comes through the Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF), and will be used for the care of our life-limited children and their families across the East Midlands.

Helen Graham, Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser at Rainbows, said: “We’re very grateful to Leicestershire & Rutland Freemasons for their generous grant, which will make a real difference to the children and families who rely on Rainbows.”

This is just one of 203 grants to hospices around the country from Freemasons. In total £750,000 will be donated to hospices all over England and Wales this year. Contributions from Freemasons to hospices have exceeded £14 million in England and Wales since 1984.

Peter Kinder, Head of Leicestershire & Rutland Freemasons added: “I’m very pleased we’ve been able to assist Rainbows. They do an outstanding job helping people with life-limiting conditions, as well as supporting their families through very difficult times.”
