Qdos to Paris
The week commencing Monday 16th December saw a total of 461 miles being completed on an exercise bike by the Qdos contractor team – the equivalent distance from their Leicestershire office to the French capital city of Paris to raise money for Rainbows.
By Monday, the team had cycled 98 miles between 8 people to reach Watford; Tuesday landed them in Canterbury 86 miles later; they arrived at Lilliers on Wednesday succeeding a 94 mile ride overseas; Thursday was spent biking 84 miles ‘across France’ to reach Roye, with Friday hosting the last leg of the journey of 99 miles to the goal destination, Paris.
Though there were moans, unattractive amounts of sweat, and at times, downright soreness! The team collectively reached their goal and enjoyed doing so for an amazing cause and raised over £600 in the process.
