Our shops need you

People looking for a new direction in 2019 can benefit from a rewarding experience by volunteering at one of our shops.

We have shops in Loughborough, Melton, Market Harborough, Blaby and Beeston and need volunteers to help with a range of jobs including sorting stock, dressing the shop windows and serving on the till.

Karen Bilsby, Head of Retail at Rainbows, said: “Everyone who volunteers for us tells us how much they enjoy donating their time to Rainbows and learning new skills. Our volunteers aren’t just people who specifically want to work in a shop. They tell us it is often about meeting new people and experiencing new things. Others might be people who spend a lot of time at home and want a change of scenery or new companionship.

“We’re always looking for new volunteers, so if you have spare time, need a new challenge or simply wish to support Rainbows in a different way, please do get in touch. You can be a real part of something that brings support, love and laughter to children whose lives are sadly too short.”

All proceeds from our shops go towards providing care and support to over 400 children and young people in the East Midlands with life-limiting illnesses.
