Joules and Rainbows stage creative fundraiser

Leicestershire based Joules, one of Britain’s best loved family lifestyle brands, has teamed up with Rainbows for a special creative fundraiser.

Along with Joules, we are inviting youngsters aged five and upwards to grab their pencils and paper for a special virtual live drawing lesson on Thursday 3 June.

Joules is known for its colourful prints and distinctive products. And now, one of their talented Print Designers, Sophie, who by day can be found carefully illustrating, sketching and creating designs for its next range of clothing is hosting the special drawing lesson in support of our charity.

Alison Furlong, Head of Community and Events at Rainbows, said: “Whether your child is an avid drawer or looking to try something new, this event is perfect for children and young people aged five-years-old to teenagers.

“Sophie will guide them through the process of illustrating a variety of animals, in a fun creative away. We would encourage them to follow the live event, and then they can watch the video back as many times as they would like.

“And by joining in, you will be helping to fund the vital care that Rainbows provides to over 450 children, young people and their families.”

The event, which costs £5, will take place via Zoom from 2pm on Thursday 3 June and all attendees will be required to book their place in advance.
