Dollar UK’s Nottingham Office Partners with Rainbows Hospice

Consumer finance provider Dollar UK has, in addition to it’s existing partnership with Helen and Douglas House Children’s Hospices has recently partnered with Rainbows. The team in Nottingham has already kicked-off an exciting initiative, in aid of the hospices, which will see the Dollar IT team taking part in a virtual cycle ride – 1,164 miles from their Head Office in Nottingham to Gdansk, Poland – and they have set themselves 18 weeks to complete the challenge – just short of 65 miles a week, which will be completed during team meetings, break times and before and after work!

In addition to the cycle ride, the office’s Head of HR took part in September’s Ikano Robin Hood Half Marathon to raise money for the charities.

Stuart Howard, CEO of Dollar UK, said:

“We are so proud to be supporting Rainbows Hospice – which is such a wonderful cause helping so many children. As a business we believe in continually strengthening our charitable and community partnerships here in the UK, and look forward to the various initiatives, challenges and fundraising efforts the team will take part in to raise vital funds for this charity.”
