Rainbows Hospice Lottery is a chance of winning its weekly jackpot of £1,000 as well as 32 other cash prizes whilst supporting the children, young people and families of Rainbows. Launched in 2004, the weekly lottery has approximately 7,000 members across the East Midlands. Since its inception the lottery has continued to provide much needed funding for the hospice.

The lottery is the only form of continual income that the hospice receives and it is from the support of local people that enables Rainbows to provide this very special service.

At the minute the hospice is looking for the local community to help recruit new members and raise awareness of the lottery. Jas Dosanjh-Sidhu, Lottery Manager for Rainbows says, “The local community plays a very important role in helping raise funds for the hospice and by educating the public about the lottery is vital as if you don’t know about it, you can’t join it!!”

Rainbows need in excess of £4 million each year to keep its doors open to the children who use the hospice, helping children and young people reach their full potential and get the most out of their short lives.

The lottery costs £1 a week to play and once players sign up, they are allocated a unique 5-digit number, which remains theirs for as long as they wish and there is no minimum of how many numbers you can have. If members sign up for a year, they will receive a free Rainbows Lottery Bow Bear as a special thank you!
