Loughborough Santa Run
It’s back and bigger than ever! This year’s Loughborough Santa Run is taking place on Sunday 6 December and whether you choose to hop, skip, dance or dash your way around the route, there’s plenty of Christmas cheer waiting for you. Starting in Loughborough Marketplace at 11am it’s the perfect way to get active, celebrate the festive season and make special memories.
Each ticket includes entry to the 2.5km or 5km closed-road race, plus a Santa T-shirt to wear on the day and a finisher’s medal to celebrate your achievement and crossing the finish line in style!
This year there’s even more festive fun to enjoy- visit our brand new Santa’s Grotto and browse the Christmas Market for seasonal treats and festive goodies. Enjoy fantastic performances from the Rock Choir and soak up the Christmas atmosphere with our brass band cheer station – making it a fantastic way to celebrate Christmas with family and friends before and after you take on the Santa Run!

Step into the magic as children meet Santa, share their Christmas wishes, and create a truly special festive memory. You’ll have the opportunity to take your own photo of the magical moment, so don’t forget to bring your camera or phone to capture a picture you’ll treasure forever!
Each child will also receive a small Christmas gift from Santa to take home – perfect for creating special Christmas memories with the whole family.

Our specialist Rainbows Play Team provides personalised, therapeutic play to support every baby, child, and young person’s development, communication, and well being. By taking part in our Little Fundraisers’ Challenge this Christmas and raising £35, your child could fund a vital play therapy session – creating meaningful moments and lasting memories.
Each pack comes with a festive colouring envelope to complete and fun stickers and some festive treats – plus, every child who completes the challenge will earn their very own Jenny Giraffe teddy. Join our Team Campaign page here!
Christmas Market- we’re looking for stall holders!
The Loughborough Santa Run welcomes over one thousand runners and their supporters to celebrate the Christmas season while raising vital funds for Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People. Our stall holders help bring the event to life, creating a magical atmosphere with delicious food, handmade crafts, and unique gifts.
Stall Holder info
- Stall places are limited and will be selected in order to provide a varied selection of goods to buy.
- The cost is £50 per stall.
- Stall holders must provide the following documentation: Public liability insurance; Risk Assessment (a simple risk assessment template can be provided if needed), and Food Hygiene (if selling consumable goods).

Can I bring my dog?
Why should humans have all the fun? Your four-legged friends are welcome to join the Santa Run too as long as they are kept on leads! Bring your beloved Santa Paws along for a festive adventure, and make their day extra special by adding a Festive Dog Bandana to your booking.

How long is the route?
You can join our sea of Santa’s by taking on either a 5km or 2.5km loop – and the best part? No need to decide your distance in advance! Just follow the lead of our merry elves on the day and go at your own pace.

Where does the race start and finish?
The fun kicks off in Loughborough Market Place, where you’ll ho-ho-hop your way through Queen’s Park, past Loughborough University, along Epinal Way, and all the way back to the Market Place to finish.

How can I collect my t-shirt?
T-shirts will be available for collection two weeks before the event. Once collection opens, we’ll email you with details of the new t-shirt collection location
If you haven’t collected your t-shirt in advance, don’t worry! Registration opens at 9am for on-the-day collection.

I haven’t received a race number this year?
This year we are not using race numbers however every runner must be wearing one of our Rainbows 2026 Santa Run wristbands. You should collect these with your t-shirts.

Will tickets be available to purchase on the day?
Advance ticket sales will end at 3.00pm on Thursday 4 December. If we have any tickets left these will be available to purchase on the morning of the event from 9.00am in the marketplace.

Where can I park?
Parking is available at Beehive Lane, (off Woodgate) Loughborough LE11 2TY located close to the marketplace.

How does the Little Fundraisers’ Challenge Pack work?
- Simply add a pack to your basket when booking your tickets, and we’ll post your activity pack out to you.
- Have fun fundraising, and use your envelope to collect your sponsorship money.
- Bring your donations to the Charity Village on race day to claim your Jenny! (Please note it is one Jenny per child)
