Furniture Collections

We are offering a FREE furniture collection service. Looking to donate an old sofa, a wardrobe, or a piece of furniture you have no use for anymore? We would love for you to donate your furniture items to Rainbows and give them a new home.

Please use our online form to arrange a collection or call our furniture collection voicemail to leave your name, address and furniture item you would like to donate, and we will be in touch.

Upholstered furniture items must comply with The Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988, unless made before 1950.

Thank you for supporting us – every donation helps make a difference for the babies, children and young people we care for. 

Could you help us fill our new store?

We will be open Friday 20th and Saturday 21st February, 10am until 2pm, for you to drop off any pre-loved items, including furniture. Bring your donations and help us stock the shelves for our big opening in February!

We will then accept stock donations 7 days a week from 27th February 2026.

Be part of something new by volunteering at Rainbows’ very first Furniture, Fashion and Donation Store in Shepshed. Whether you enjoy working behind the scenes or chatting with customers on the shop floor, there’s a role here for you!

As a volunteer, you’ll be part of a friendly, dynamic team that plays a vital role in supporting Rainbows. You’ll help raise awareness of our work, showcase and sell fantastic products, and help generate crucial funds that support Rainbows at the hospice and in the community.

There are a variety of volunteer roles available, from welcoming customers on the shop floor and sorting behind the scenes to running the till and helping our van drivers with deliveries and furniture collection.
