Our Sibling Support Worker provides support and play therapy (if required) to brothers and sisters who may be bereaved, and those who have a sibling with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition. These sessions are often in their school but can be at home or at the hospice.

The group sessions allow siblings to share experiences, gain information and have the opportunity to speak to others who understand their situation and the problems they face. There is also an opportunity to have some fun!

To find out more about our Sibling Support work, please email our Sibling Support Worker or call 01509 638 000.

They go to the sibling group and it is so important for them to know they aren’t alone, that there are other children out there who have poorly brothers or sisters. It is a relief for them to know that it is normal and to make special friends with special connections.
