Run a Half Marathon for Rainbows
We’ve teamed up with Run For Charity to bring Rainbows supporters a wide range of exciting Half Marathon events across the UK.
Leicestershire Half – 22 February 2026
- Registration Fee- £15+ booking fee
- Minimum Fundraising target- £200 excluding Gift Aid
- Sponsorship Deadline- You must complete your registration on the Run for Charity Portal and have raised £50 by 22 January 2026 in order to confirm your place
Kettering Half – 8 March 2026
- Registration Fee- £15+ booking fee
- Minimum Fundraising target- £200 excluding Gift Aid
- Sponsorship Deadline- You must complete your registration on the Run for Charity Portal and have raised £50 by 26 January 2026 in order to confirm your place
Cambridge Half – 8 March 2026
- Registration Fee- £30+ booking fee
- Minimum Fundraising target- £350 excluding Gift Aid
- Sponsorship Deadline- You must complete your registration on the Run for Charity Portal and have raised £100 by 9 January 2026 in order to confirm your place
Hampton Court Palace Half – 15 March 2026

Why fundraise for Rainbows?
We can’t do the work we do without your support, so by taking part in a challenge we will provide:
- A dedicated member of the fundraising team to support you
- A fundraising guide, as well as fundraising advice, hints and tips in the build up to the event
- Access to a range of Rainbows fundraising materials (collection boxes, posters, balloons etc.) to make any events you hold look amazing

We’re here for the whole family, offering comfort and compassion during tough times, providing the highest level of professional care until the end, and support after. Simply put, we’re here to brighten short lives, and support families, wherever they are.
Every penny you raise, will help support our vital work here at the Hospice, in the local community and in hospitals.
How do I fundraise?
The simplest way to fundraise is by utilising the online donation site JustGiving. Think of your JustGiving page as an online sponsorship form… and setting it up typically only takes a few minutes.
