Important Information for Volunteers
Thank you to all our current volunteers and those of you who are considering volunteering with Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young people. We understand there have been many changes recently due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and this has impacted the charity in many ways.
In line with the Government guidelines we have had to make a number of changes to the roles available to our volunteers and the way in which volunteering can operate. Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young people are reviewing the guidelines on a daily basis and implementing any changes as necessary. We appreciate your understanding and compliance with this.
Please find below some of the latest changes to volunteering at Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People:
- all volunteer roles usually carried out within the hospice have been suspended. We will review this on a weekly basis and will contact any volunteers affected, if anything should change.
- fundraising roles – these are limited at the moment. We have a few spaces for volunteers within our communities to support our fundraising teams.
- please note that, due to the current circumstances, we are unable to offer work experience/placements.
Thank you for your continued help and support at this time. We are really looking forward to a time when we are able to reopen volunteer recruitment safely in all areas.
