Gifts in Kind
We welcome gifts that support us to offer respite, palliative and end of life care to babies, children and young people across the East Midlands.
Money is not the only thing your company can give! We welcome gifts that support us to offer respite, palliative and end of life care to babies, children and young people across the East Midlands.
Rainbows values the experience and expertise that your company has to offer and there are always lots of products and services we need. Perhaps your company could provide something to benefit the hospice such as gifted equipment, supplies or pro bono services? We would love to talk to you to explore these opportunities with you.

To give you an idea of how Gifts In Kind have benefitted Rainbows, have a read through our examples:
The impact of the pandemic really hit us with all of the additional need for PPE equipment. We were lucky enough to receive lots of donations from various companies to help us out. Alliance Medical went above and beyond with their very generous donation of gloves, anti-bac wipes and hand cream.
Henton and Chattell
Last summer our friends at Henton & Chattell very generously donated some wonderful gardening equipment. This has been a great help to us to maintain our beautiful gardens for our families to enjoy and relax in. Our facilities team were particularly excited to get mowing!
This year Hill-Rom UK kindly donated twelve Pro-6000 Thermometers to us. This gift helps to ensure the safe and effective care of the children and young people. We can continue to reliably measure each child’s temperature through their stay, but because we now have one per room it reduces cross infection risks as well.
Who doesn’t love biscuits? We’re so lucky at Rainbows to receive support from McVitie’s in Leicester who keep us well stocked with a supply of their delicious biscuits. Their generous donations mean that we have tea and biscuits for our families, help to focus at planning meetings and supplies for all of our amazing sibling events. The McVitie’s team keep us going!
