See Derby like never before

People in Derby can see the city like never before or even in the dark at our Derby Abseil.

Registration for our popular annual event is now open and adventurous participants will get the chance to descend the 212ft historic tower – the second highest in the country.

All money raised at the sponsored event on Saturday 13 October goes towards the care we provide at the hospice.

Rainbows event organiser Ali Furlong said: “This is a really popular event and we encourage people wanting to take part to sign up early to avoid disappointment. Those taking part will enjoy spectacular views of Derby city centre and with the nights being darker early in October, we can offer a different experience for those who want to do it in the dark. By taking part, you really will be helping a fantastic cause.”

People can abseil between 9am and 7pm. Entry is £20 and Rainbows is encouraging participants to raise sponsorship money. Children under 12 are not permitted to take part. To get involved, email [email protected] or visit rainbows.co.uk/derbyabseil
