Rainbows has teamed up with Gem’s Cash for Kids to bring #SuperheroDay to the East Midlands on:
Friday 5th May 2017
Sign up your school, college, university, business or workplace, dust off your superhero outfit and join in!
You could lock up the boss and only release them when you’ve raised enough cash! How about holding a super quiz or a onesie day? Maybe you can set yourself a challenge and get sponsored by family and friends? Or you could run a superhero dress up day on Friday 5th May and ask for donations to wear an outfit to work or school? Whatever you choose to do, make sure you let us know and Gem will make you famous for your fundraising across the East Midlands.
50% of all the money raised from Superhero Day will come to Rainbows. The other 50% will be used by Gem’s Cash for Kids charity to provide grants to families, community projects and other charities in the East Midlands. These grants will support children who maybe living in poverty, are subject to neglect or abuse or living with a serious illness or disability.
Every penny raised locally stays local, so your support will directly benefit a local child with at least 80p in every pound donated going to the children.
