Rainbows Awarded Silver Medal for Their Garden at Chelsea

Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People in Loughborough is celebrating after being awarded a silver medal for its garden at the Chelsea Flower Show.

Judging commenced just before the garden was officially opened yesterday by the charity’s President, The Duchess of Rutland and new patron, TV celebrity Angela Rippon.

Rainbows Contemplation Garden at Chelsea Flower Show

Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People in Loughborough is opening a contemplation garden during Children’s Hospice Week, 18-25 May at the world famous Chelsea Flower Show.

The ‘Rainbows Children’s Hospice Garden’ will be a place of relaxation and reflection and will be recreated at the East Midlands’ hospice after the show. It will provide a tranquil place to help parents and staff deal with the extremely emotional day-to-day challenges of working and living with life-limited children.

Fundraising in action - Easter Egg Meltdown

A big thanks to Annabelle, Grace and Henry Humphreys who won a giant chocolate Easter egg in a raffle and decided to melt it down and make chocolate crispy cakes to sell which raised £76.00 - very entrepreneurial!
