Rainbows Thanks Donors Who Gave in Memory of Susan Taylor

We would like to thank kind-hearted donors who have honoured the memory of Susan Taylor by contributing to Rainbows.

Susan Taylor (34) died while she was taking part in her createaripple.co.uk challenge for Rainbows Hospice and Diabetes UK. She tragically died on Sunday in Boulogne after she collapsed on the final part of the challenge.

Susan had been one of our Ambassadors for over two years. During that time she has tirelessly fundraised, helped out at events and raised awareness of the hospice.

Burgers, Hot-dogs, Shower-gels and Salads

Yesterday we mentioned dining al fresco and making the most of the weather and beautiful gardens, so what did we have for lunch today, a beautiful BBQ!

The staff and children and young people had a great time munching on burgers and hot-dogs under our kindly donated marquees in our beautiful sunny gardens. We even had the pleasure of a Body Shop stall to buy some lovely smellies as an after lunch treat.

All in all a beautiful lunch, we're looking forward to comparing the tan-lines tomorrow!
