Gifts in wills
Thank you for considering Remembering Rainbows in your will. After you have looked after your loved ones, leaving part of your remaining estate to Rainbows in your will is a special way of making sure we can be here, to care for critically ill babies, children and young people, whenever they need us. We rely on these gifts in wills to provide our vital specialised and dedicated care - quite simply we couldn’t be here without your support.
Last year 11 percent of all our funding came from gifts in wills.
Each year, these gifts vary but they’re all essential in helping us provide a place for children and young people to play, laugh and receive the best possible care. Gifts in wills also allow us to support mums, dads, brothers, sisters and grandparents – because life-limiting illnesses affect the whole family.
Together, we can help even more. But at Rainbows, we appreciate leaving a gift in your will is a big decision, so please decide in your own time. If we can help, please ask, our team will always answer your questions quickly and honestly.
Already made a will; but now want to leave a gift?
If you have already made a will but now wish to include a gift to Rainbows you may be able to add a codicil form to your existing will.
We strongly advise consulting with your solicitor before adding a codicil.
Whilst Rainbows cannot provide you with legal advice, we can discuss with you the will writing process and answer any questions you may have about leaving a gift in your will to Rainbows.
Already left a gift in your will?
If you’ve already included a gift in your will to Rainbows – thank you! We would be grateful, if you have, if you’d let us know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by writing to us at:

Knowing you have left us a gift in your will helps us plan for the future. It also gives us the chance to personally thank you for your generous support, while keeping you up-to-date with our work.
