Taste of History

The chief archaeologist responsible for the discovery of Richard III is the guest speaker at a special dinner held in aid of Rainbows.

Richard Buckley, from the University of Leicester’s School of Archaeology, will entertain diners at the Taste of History event with a celebration of the reburial. He will talk about the adventure from the start of the dig to the re-interment in Leicester Cathedral.

Taste of History, where the three course dinner includes the choice of one of two recipes from the period, takes place at 7pm on Wednesday 29 April at the Taste Restaurant, Leicester College. Tickets are £28.50 with reductions for tables of eight or 10. All money raised will go to Rainbows.
