Where’s It Bin
The ‘Where’s It Bin?’ challenge will see Rainbows drop three branded wheelie bins to your business for one week. All you have to do is ask your lovely staff to bring in bagged items and place them in either Betty, Bertie or Barry, yes we have named them! We will provide a picture, poster and suggested e-mail template for you to send out to your staff on how the project works and what we would like them to donate. It really is as simple as that!
We have an online leader board to show how well you’ve done and where the bins have been. Adding your company sticker to the side of the bins will show others where they’ve bin!
For all its simplicity, this campaign will be a great help to us to collect much needed stock for our shops. The income generated helps Rainbows provide vital care and support for children with terminal and life limiting conditions from across the East Midlands, as well as their families.
So, whether you’re a team of 3 or 300, you could help make a huge difference by filling a bin with your unwanted garments.
So how does it work?
We will drop off the three bins on an agreed Monday morning and collect them the following Monday. You send out the pre-prepared e-mail to all staff and they bring in their bagged items and they simply place it in one of the bins.
You can place the bins together or move them around your office or site so that everyone can use them. Why not take a picture with them too and send it to us!
Don’t forget, just for fun, our league table allows you to see how other companies are doing and gives you a target to aim for. There will be prizes for the top bin fillers!
If you think you could donate lots of stock over a long period of time, why not consider having a permanent bin on site? We’ll call over and empty the bin(s) when they’re full and you can fill them again and again!
