Voice of Strictly and National Lottery urges people to support us

Alan Dedicoat appears at Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People's annual lunch

Alan Dedicoat, the official "Voice of the Balls” and Strictly Come Dancing is encouraging people to snap up the remaining tickets for our 25th Anniversary Celebrity Lunch.

Alan, whose voice will be recognised by millions in the UK, is the guest speaker at our event on Wednesday 20 March at Welford Road Stadium, home of the Leicester Tigers.

“You have been listening to my voice for over 40 years,” said Alan. “I am the official Voice of the Balls and Strictly Come Dancing and for many incredible years, I joined the late Sir Terry Wogan on his Radio 2 Breakfast Show.

“If you want to find out what it is like to work on these shows and hear some of my interesting anecdotes, then come along to the lunch. Not only will you have a fabulous time, you will be supporting children and young people who are cared for by Rainbows.

“There will also be a Q&A session so if you have any burning questions, this is your chance!”

The lunch runs from 11am until 4pm and tickets are £42 per person, which includes three-courses and a glass of bubbly. Visit or contact 01509 638066 or
