People could win £5,000 in Rainbows Big Christmas Raffle
Every year staff at Rainbows administer over 21,600 doses of medication, carry out 6,500 loads of washing and provide 18,500 meals.
Over 7,000 eggs, 52,200 teabags and 1,500kg of potatoes are used annually contributing to the cost of over £6million that it takes to run our hospice.
People can help fund our hospice by taking part in our Big Christmas Raffle. Tickets are now available costing £1. The winner of the Big Christmas Raffle will certainly glow with Christmas cheer as the top prize is £5,000. Other cash prizes of £250, £100 and £50 are up for grabs. The draw will take place on Friday 13 December, and tickets can be purchased until Friday 6 December.
Helen Lee-Smith, Head of Individual Giving at Rainbows, said: “Less than 20 percent of our funding comes from the Government and statutory sources. We rely on the generosity of our supporters for their donations of money and time to help fund essential medicine, food and housekeeping at our hospice.
“Getting involved with the Big Christmas Raffle is an easy way to help and every penny goes to ensuring we can provide the very best care for babies, children, young people and their families at times when they need us the most.
“Not only that, the lucky winner will receive the £5,000 gift in time for Christmas – how amazing is that?”
