Farmer & Carlisle Toyota donates £2k to Rainbows

Rainbows Sensory Garden

A Leicestershire car dealer has donated £2,000 to Rainbows towards a refurbishment of our Sensory Garden.

Farmer and Carlisle Toyota, which has dealerships in Loughborough and Leicester, made the donation as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility scheme.

The company chose to support us because it wants to help and work with communities in the area.

John Carlisle, Centre Principal at Farmer and Carlisle, said: “Everyday Rainbows makes a huge difference in people’s lives by providing vital care and support to families. For us it was an easy choice to choose Rainbows because we want to use this fund to support organisations that form part of the foundations of our local community.

“We cannot wait to see the new sensory garden. And really hope everyone that visits it can unwind and enjoy some relaxing quality family time together. Thank you Rainbows for all that you do for the community.”

Emily Wright, Corporate Partnership Fundraiser, added: “This is an incredible donation, which will help us to further develop the Sensory Garden. This is a valued space for our children, young people and their families and on behalf of everyone at Rainbows; we thank everyone at Farmer and Carlisle Toyota.”
