Join Rainbows and the Lewis Sewell Memorial Trust in taking part in Walk for Lewis: 18 miles for 18 years, in memory of talented young actor, Lewis Sewell.
Please note, this event has been organised by a third party to support Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People.
Fundraising in someone's memory is a truly special way to mark their life, while helping others in need at the same time. And this May, you're invited to join Rainbows and the Lewis Sewell Memorial Trust in taking part in Walk for Lewis: 18 miles for 18 years, in memory of talented young actor, Lewis Sewell.
Between Monday 24 May and Friday 28 May, we’re asking you to Walk for Lewis: 18 miles for 18 years.
Whether you complete a couple of miles each day or you tackle the distance in one go, it's completely up to you. You might want to complete the distance alone or as team, be it with a family, friends or colleagues – again the decision is all yours!
It is free to sign up take part in this event, and your fundraising will be split 50:50 between the Lewis Sewell Memorial Trust and Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People. Every step you take in memory of Lewis will help to support young people within the arts industry like Lewis', while enabling Rainbows to continue to be here to offer bereavement support to Lewis' family and families like theirs.
However you complete the Walk for Lewis: 18 miles for 18 years, please remember to follow the latest Covid-19 guidelines.

When setting up a JustGiving page, please state that the money raised will be split 50:50 between the Lewis Sewell Memorial Trust and Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People.

About Lewis Sewell:
Lewis Sewell from Castle Donington was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer on 5th February 2020. Lewis was an avid lover of theatre and the arts, and in the time leading up to his death he set up the criteria for the Lewis Sewell memorial trust to help aspiring actors.
He also received many goodwill messages from people across the arts and entertainment industry. These included some of the biggest names in theatre, such as Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber, Lin Manuel Miranda, Michael Morpurgo, Arlene Phillips and Maxine Peake among others. He died, aged 18, on 15 August 2020.
