Summer Virtual Rainbows 5K for Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People

This summer, get your family together and help spread smiles as you complete the miles by taking part in the Summer Virtual Rainbows 5K.

Due to Covid-19, unfortunately we’ve been unable to hold any of our usual popular events, which has had a huge impact on our fundraising efforts. But we’re super pleased to be able to bring you our incredible Summer Virtual Rainbows 5K.

This summer, get your family together and help spread smiles as you complete the miles by taking part in the Summer Virtual Rainbows 5K. Why not add a bit of friendly competition by encouraging your friends to take part too?

Whether you want to run, hop, skip, cycle or even dance the distance, in one go or in short bursts throughout the summer, it’s up to you!

Registration is FREE!

So we know you’re taking part in this fantastic summer event, please register your family by emailing fundraising@rainbows.co.uk. Once you’ve registered, a member of our Supporter Relations Team will be in touch, via email, with helpful fundraising tips and advice, including a link to download your very own social media assets, so you can shout about your fundraising.

When you raise a minimum sponsorship of £20 (per adult) and £10 (per child, aged 16-years-old and under) we’ll send you one of our fantastic limited edition medals. If you raise £100pp, along with a fantastic medal we’ll also send you a special Rainbows t-shirt; and if you raise £200pp you’ll receive a Rainbows water bottle, a special Rainbows t-shirt and your medal.

However you take part in the Summer Virtual Rainbows 5K, please do share your photos with us across social media – simply by tagging us in on Facebook (@rainbowsfanpage), Twitter (@rainbowshospice) and Instagram (@rainbowshospice) as we love to see them and share the fantastic work you’re doing to support us - and don't forget to include #Rainbows5K
