Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London
Use your pedal power to help support Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People
Experienced rider or a complete beginner looking to take on a 'wheelie' exciting challenge? Come and join us and 25,000 other riders at Ride London - the world's greatest festival of cycling.
Ride London is the perfect event for cyclists of all abilities, especially as there's no other closed-road event like it. And for 2020 we have EIGHT guaranteed places available for the London-Surrey 100 challenge.
Starting at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the ride will take you on a 100 mile route along clsoed roads, through the capital and into the beautiful Surrey countryside. As you peddle along the route you'll encounter leg-testing climbs and a route made famous by the world's best cyclists during the 2012 Olympics. But it'll all be worth it as you cross the finish line at The Mall, Central London, shortly before a number of professional cyclists race in the PrudentialRide London-Surrey classic.
Taking part for Rainbows couldn't be easier. All we ask is that you raise a minimum of £250 in sponsorship.
What you'll get from Rainbows:
Join Team Rainbows on this fantastic cycle ride and we'll provide you with...
- your very own Rainbows branded cycling top - guaranteed to provide you with comfort during your ride (not to mention lots of cheers).
- a personalised and detailed fundraising pack complete with sponsorship forms, suggested training plans, ideas and advice.
- our experienced team of fundraisers will also be on hand to offer you support with your fundraising, every step of the way.
Why ride with Team Rainbows?
Because of our supporters taking part in challenges such as RideLondon, we can continue to be there for over 400 children and young people with life-limiting conditions, here in the UK. We can also continue to be here for their families - every step of the journey, providing them with the support they require. It currently costs roughly £6 million to keep our doors open - and we rely heavily on people like you, and your incredible fundraising efforts, to raise this money.
By putting your pedal power to the test, you'll be helping to brighten short lives.
