Run for Rainbows at the 2022 Ramathon

Ramathon is the oldest and biggest event of its kind in Derbyshire, with the race proving extremely popular on the running events calendar, attracting thousands of runners and raising loads of cash for good causes.

The exciting route starts and finishes in Iron Gate close to Derby Cathedral and takes in Pride Park Stadium, Alvaston Park and the stunning scenery of Elvaston Castle Country Park.

The course is fast and flat. A fantastically vibrant atmosphere on the day is guaranteed. Will you be on the start line running for Rainbows?

How to Run for Rainbows:

For the Ramathon 2022, we have a limited number of places available, which guarantee you a spot on the start line. 

To apply for one of our guaranteed places, please click on the Book Now button and apply for a Rainbows Ramathon place. 
All successful Ramathon applicants be required to pledge to raise a minimum of £100.

Why Run for Rainbows:

By running for Rainbows at the Ramathon 2022 you will be helping to support children, young people and families living with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions, here in the East Midlands. Every penny you raise, will help support our vital work here at the Hospice, in the local community and in hospitals.

To help make your Ramathon 2022 experience as memorable as possible, we will provide you with: 

  • Fundraising support from a dedicated member of the Rainbows Team, who’ll help you reach your fundraising goals and provide you with marketing materials you may need to spread the word about your fantastic challenge
  • Your own Rainbows running vest or technical t-shirt for you to wear with pride on the day
