Rainbows Annual Lunch

Hear stories from the frontline of Leicester's Police at our Annual Lunch 2020

Please note, tickets for this event are not currently on sale. Keep an eye on the page and our social media channels for more information.

Did you know that we plate over 9,000 meals each year for our children and young people to enjoy when they visit Rainbows? You can help us cater for even more by buying a ticket to our Annual Lunch 2020, which returns to Welford Road, home of the Leicester Tigers, in March - and guarantees an afternoon of revelry.

Monarchs and murderers, tragedies and celebrations, Leicester has witnessed them all over the years; and our special guest speaker in 2020, Simon Cole QPM, will be able to regale you with stories from all - as he's been there, on the front line, as the Chief Constable for Leicestershire Police.

Your day will begin with a welcome drink to enjoy as you browse a special selection of independent stalls, selling a range of items from crafts and drinks, to cards and chocolates. There's also the opportunity to win some fantastic prizes with a Rainbows Raffle - and all proceeds from this will help support the work we do.

From the stalls, you'll be invited to take your seat in the main hall, where a stunning three-course meal will be served. During the course of the meal, you'll hear how your support is making a difference to children and young people living with a life-limiting condition, here in the East Midlands; before the main event starts... a special Q&A with our guest speaker and BBC Radio Leicester's very own Dave Andrews. Hear about the numerous Royal visits to Leicester, the re–interment of King Richard III and the trials and tribulations of the LCFC Victory Parade following the 5000/1 Premier League triumph. There may even be the opportunity to ask your very own questions to the Chief Constable of Leicestershire Police!

Our Annual Lunch 2020 promises to be an entertaining afternoon of wonderful stories based right here in Leicestershire and we can't wait to welcome you as our guests!

Tickets:

£42pp includes the three-course meal and welcome drink
