The Duchess of Rutland
The Duchess says “I can only imagine the feelings of a mother who discovers that her child is not expected to live beyond childhood or early adulthood. As a mother myself I can understand how fragile the health of a child can be and this is one reason why I have agreed to become a Patron of Rainbows Building for the Future Appeal. I hope that others throughout the East Midlands will lend their support too.”
Darren Maddy
Darren says “I have been a Patron of Rainbows for some time and for me, it is a very special place full of colour and laughter. I am delighted to lend my support to Rainbows Building for the Future Appeal which will result in more bedrooms and a new therapy wing. Dean Richards
Dean Richards has agreed to support the Rainbows Building for the Future Appeal by becoming an appeal patron. Dean is one of the most successful rugby players and coaches in the English club game having won numerous titles and trophies at Leicester Tigers. To support the Appeal, Dean has signed up 8 participants to take part in an overseas bike ride through the Bolivian Andes on what is known as ‘the most dangerous road in the world’ and has pledged to raise in excess of £50,000.
Sir Andrew Buchanan
Sir Andrew Buchanan, Bt, Lord Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire is backing the Rainbows Children’s Hospice Building for the Future Appeal.Sir Andrew says, “I am delighted to give my support as a Patron to such a worthy cause and would encourage everyone in Nottinghamshire to support Rainbows which is their local Children’s Hospice.
