The company’s website provides online fundraising tools to enable the electronic collection of donations. Justgiving provides its service for more than 5,000+ UK registered charities and 300,000 fundraising pages for users, collecting over £340 million. The administrative function includes the automatic reclaiming of Gift Aid on all donations from UK taxpayers. Justgiving’s stated goal is to ‘allow ordinary people to raise extra ordinary amounts of money’.

Ideas For Your Fundraising
- Set up a Just Giving page and email it to your friends, family and colleagues to use for sponsor you. To set up a page – go to www.justgiving.com/rainbowschildrens
- Hold a car boot sale – get rid of the items you no longer want or need, declutter your home and raise funds all at the same time!
- Have a fundraising party – whether a disco or dinner party, hold a get together for your friends and charge them to attend.
- Ask your local supermarket if you can hold a bag pack at their store, and ask shoppers for donations in exchange for helping them to pack their shopping bags.
- Write to local companies telling them what you are doing and offer to have their logo printed on your Rainbows Running Vest in exchange for a donation.
- Bake cakes and sell them to your colleagues for mid-morning snacks.
- Hold a quiz night in your local pub and charge people to take part.
