Green ways to give
Recycling is a great way to help both Rainbows and our environment. There are lots of everyday things which can help us boost funds, including:
- Mobile phones – most mobiles can be recycled and we could pick up to £50 per phone. Simply drop your old phones into the collection boxes at the BBC Radio Leicester, Loughborough Echo or Derby Evening Telegraph offices.
- Inkjet and laser cartridges – We can recycle most inkjet cartridges (how many does your company get through each week?). Call our (Graham’s title tbc), Graham Price, to find out more.
- Jewellery – If you have jewellery you’d like to donate (old or new), just call Emma Lovegrove on 01509 638 006
- Clothes and household items – We work with Ragtex UK to recycle clothes and household items. Call Ragtex UK on 0116 2352727 or see the list below for clothing bank locations:
