Be a hero and sign up for Walk of Life 2012 as part of Children’s Hospice Week and help to support children and young people from across the East Midlands.
Rainbows annual Walk of Life is back for its 15th year. Last year saw hundreds of people taking part and walking 5 and 15 miles for Rainbows which helped raise over £40,000. This year we want to make it even bigger by getting everybody involved with Childrens Hospice week and getting dressed up as superheroes.
Once again the walk will start at Leicestershire County Cricket ground on Sunday 27 May. All ages and abilities can take part, and children under sixteen can walk for free but must be accompanied by a participating adult.
Don’t think you can walk 5 or 15 miles? Not a problem – you can join us for as little or as much of the walk as you’d like.
Register for Walk of Life 2012
To register costs just £5.00 per person (under 16s go free), and all participants will receive a goody bag and medal. All persons wishing to enter the walk must register.
Your registration fee only covers the cost of putting on the event so any money you can raise will go directly to provide the care our children and families rely on.
Once you have registered, we’ll send you sponsors forms and everything you need to raise sponsorship along with details of the route on the day and how to pay your money in. You can start collecting sponsorship online by setting up a fundraising page through JustGiving or Virgin Money Giving. For more infoclick here
