This sell out event is returning for its third year and in 2024 our inspirational speakers will demonstrate that in a world dominated by stereotypes and unconscious bias, you can and will achieve your goals should you be passionate enough to want to do so.
As our inspirational speakers take to the stage, you’ll be able to indulge in a delicious Afternoon Tea, which has been specifically selected by us for this spectacular event.
But the fun doesn’t stop there. All guests will get to enjoy:

- The chance to win some great prizes in the on-the-day raffle
- Shop at some independent stalls
- Learn more about Rainbows and our vital work across the East Midlands, with the chance to hear from our staff and Rainbows families
Our Speakers:
This year we have two incredible speakers, guaranteed to keep you entertained during the day.
Libby Clegg MBE
Libby Clegg MBE is a remarkable Paralympic athlete who has defied all odds as a visually impaired runner. Born with a deteriorating eye condition, Libby has not lt her disability hinder her dreams. She is a multiple Paralympic gold medalist, renowned for her exceptional speed and determination on the track. Her dedication to her athletics and charity work has earned her the Member of the Order of the British Empire for her outstanding contributions to sport.’
Colin MacLachlan
A respectable military veteran, Colin MacLachlan served an impressive 18 years for The Royal Scots and the 22 SAS unit. Colin has shown consistent courage in the face of danger and has lived to tell the tale of many incredible and dangerous experiences, from being kidnapped to hunting down guerrilla gangs and hijacked planes. Most recently, he appeared on the Channel 4 show SAS: Who Dares Wins, to put his 25 years of military experience to the test.
